A former economics professor turned politician, Mr. Parizeau These two can be called the primary nation-breakers of Canada. They want Quebec to seccede from the rest of Canada, yet at the same time enjoy equal priviledges as te other provinces. They want to keep the Francophone blood pure in Quebec, safe from contamination by Indians and immigrants. They are just right off theirheads, the rest of the country said.

It is not healthy in a society such as ours that groups, particularly when they come from specific cultural communities, vote 95 per cent in the same direction. It is not very healthy.

Ushered into the post of Premiere of Quebec after the defeat and disgraceful speech of Jacque Parizeau. A former Trudeau Liberal, former Mulroney Tory, and former federalist, he now heads a social-democratic party, but believes he must attack the deficit. He wants to embrace nonfrancophone Quebecers, but dismisses the rest of us anglos. He wants to trim government and welcome outside investment, but the best he could come up with at his own economic summit was a pledge to force the Crown utility Hydro Quebec to go on a spending spree.

Jean Chretien, Canada

The Prime Minister of Canada, who called an election, insisted that the "Oui" side didn't have a chance, no need to worry, and even bragged that the federal government had no "Plan B." Then one week before the election he got on the T.V. and explained to Canadians that the country was facing a crisis, and went on to promise Quebec recognition as a distinct society and he'd like to give them a constitutional veto. Now, does he screw Quebec by renagging on his promises or does he scew the rest of Canada by keeping them? Despised in his native province Quebec already, he has lost any support he might have had in English Canada as well. A true moron.

Jesse Helms, USA

The epitome of ignorance and arrogance in the US government. A religious, right-winged, homophobic, sexist, and racist fool if I ever seen one. (Funny how the States have a lot of them in politics) Almost makes Newt looks good. The Helms-Burton law, now there is a piece of arrogant, imperialistic, self-centred piece of crap if I'd ever seen one. The scary thing is, he keeps getting re-elected! Is common sense so lacking in North Carolina?

We've got to have some common sense about a disease transmitted by people deliberately engaging in unnatural acts.

Just to give you an idea: this is a man who divorced his first wife while she was in hospital recovering from cancer surgery. And he is so out-to-lunch that even his fellow Republicans distance themselves from him. Some choice bits from this has-been:

I am sorry this section is so big, but fat boy here is, well, just too damned funny. Really. He is funny to look at, funny to listen to, and funny to watch. Especially on the 1994 Letterman show where he showed up and received a 'warm' welcome. If you have ever wondered how stupid and ignorant some (actually, a lot of) Americans can be, watch and listen to this guy. He has a large following you know. Some choice bits from our man who has a "monopoly on the truth" include:

Ross Perot, USA

A little man with visions of greatness. Granted he is a rich little man, but a little man nevertheless. Ran for Presidency in 1992, and got demolished later in the infamous NAFTA debate by vice-president Al Gore on Larry King. Why? Cuz he just came across as a dumb ass, maglomanic Texan hick. Here are a few comments about the little Texan nut whose head got too big:

Perot is a frightening prospect for America's political future. He is the poster boy for what our political system should weed out -- not embrace. Billionaire, ego driven, self aggrandizing, self interested USER types -- who leave piles of political bodies in their wake as they strive for the one thing their money cannot buy -- Power, position and prestige!

They view you and me and all the grass roots as necessary evils in their march toward their objective. Like all tyrants and dictators we are objects to be used and discarded as soon as we are no longer useful.

What makes him more dangerous than a Huffington, Rockefeller, Kennedy, Forbes or any number of other wealthy "privileged" few who had the money to attempt to "buy" a seat in America's halls of political power -- is his deceit (from the stories he gave for earlier withdrawal from the 92 race, i.e. Cuban assassins to Republican dirty tricks in threatening to spoil his daughters wedding, to the rationalizing away of the democratic elections of hundreds of UWSA leader members who were voted into office by their constituents and cavalierly removed by Perot's hired State Directors by undemocratic means.

... the complaints about unjustified and, in some cases, illegal searches go directly to Perot's Dallas headquarters, where officials have acknowledged having detectives on the West Coast, New York and Illinois check out volunteers.

But the repeated claims that Perot's organization trafficked in rumor and innuendo, and instigated computer investigations, dovetail neatly with his well-established obsession with controlling information.

Ross Perot seems to want discipline in the ranks of United We Stand America. The Perot Periodical, a New York-based quarterly, says Perot is recruiting UWSA's paid leaders from the officers' corps, and a third of its state directors have military backgrounds. Vollney Corn, UWSA's Ohio director and an ex-officer, told the PP that Perot requested resumes from 300 colonels at the Army War College. Is a vet-heavy leadership "grass-roots"? Says Corn: "We're now building [UWSA] from the top down. We're calling this a grass-roots organization, but it didn't start out that way."

A grand total of 17 out of 49 state directors have military backgrounds according to a review carried out by the PP.

A recent Washington Post-ABC News survey found that people who say they've seen flying saucers remain among Ross Perot's biggest fans. (The Washington Post, June 26, 1994)

David Duke, USA

This lad, a Grand Dragon of the Klu Klux Klan, that all-loving cult or the American South, is now a legitimate politician. Be very afraid. Once again goes to show that you don't need a brain to enter politics. Here are some choice bits (from his essay "My Indian Odyssey" about his journey to India in 1971, and an article by him about the Internet) which ought to give you an idea of how racist he is.
